For Social Security issues: call your congressman

Frequently I receive questions about Social Security.

I don’t have the answers but I do know who does: Your Congressman.

If you have an issue with Social Security or any other federal agency and you are stuck, call your Congressman. Every Congressman has a staff trained to help you cut through the red tape.

Make sure your elected officials give you your money’s worth.

I tried to resolve an issue that my wife had with SS and Medicare PartD which went on for several months. After trying and getting very frustrated by what seemed to be a catch-22 dilemma, I emailed Congressman’s Larson’s office. A wonderfully competent person named Lisa called in response, said she could and would help and the problem was cleared up within a few weeks.

She promised and delivered. Kudos to her and to Larson for hiring her.
