Europe Hotels Ailing; Bargains Should Result. New Hotel Site
As Mark Twain said, of course, there are lies, damned lies and statistics.
But there are lessons, too, in statistics. What do we really care about the fact that hotels are in trouble in Europe? That their business is off by 12 percent?
Well, beyond caring for anyone in trouble, we care because we know that there a chance for a bargain should be traveling that-a-way. So, too, the information that international travel from Europe to the United States is off 9 percent. There are travel agents who will be looking to do deals, to provide better service to try to make up the difference.
