NY Firms Illegally Selling Used Mattresses In Conn, State Alleges

Consumer Protection Commissioner Jerry Farrell, Jr. is announcing that his agency has filed complaints against Industrial Mattress, LLC, and Ellianna Bedding, both of Brooklyn, N.Y., for alleged violations of the state’s bedding and upholstered furniture laws and the Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act. Since spring of 2009, both companies have held Connecticut licenses for the manufacture of bedding and upholstered furniture.
