Event To Bring 700 Ct National Guard Troops Home Saturday, Read NEW Details

Our Saturday event has changed!!!

Fathom, Lisa Davenport’s Home Gallery, CT TweetCrawl and Agave are banding together to help Governor Rell bring 700 CT National Guard troops home for winter break and we are doing it without big pockets but instead with the small and mighty!

Event is: “Open House to Bring Them Home” party. Details are:

* 1-5pm at Lisa Davenport’s Home Gallery Warehouse in Marlborough
* FREE Admission and FREE lunch from 1-3pm, courtesy of Agave
* Silent auction and raffles, raffles, raffles – big prizes like a Smith & Wesson, a signed ball from Yanks’ pitcher Mariano Rivera, a $6,000 Tibetan rug from Lisa D’s, vacation packages and more!
* Meet the troops + families and thank them in person
* Kids create thank you cards for the troops
* Meet Linda McMahon (formerly of WWE), local celebs and our MCs Ann Nyberg of WTNH and Damon Scott of WTIC
* Kids’ activities – balloon animals, face painting, magician
* Cash donations – big checks will get a photo op with local celebrities and troops
* T-shirt sales – 70% goes towards troops
