Yipes, I’m more than 2 billion seconds old!
Uh, oh. I’ve only got 20,941 days until my 100th wedding anniversary. I better get on the ball looking for a gift.
Rattling around the nifty travel site internationalflights.com I got lost in all the neat subsites they have or link to. Timeanddate.com has a device that counts out the time between this date and that one. (They signed the Declaration of Independence 85,489 days ago, as you well know. A thousand weeks from today is Tuesday, September 25, 2029. where does the time go?)
Internationalflights.com is a nice site, combining sales, good destination information, buying opportunities, insurance info, cheap hotels, the latest travel news, etc. etc.
That’s already plenty, but it also connects up with so many other helpful and /or diverting locales: Currency converters, foreign language sites, pictures of airline food from the old days until now — and much more. Do we need all that? Probably not, but we sure do enjoy having it. Besides, you can never tell when someone will ask you how many hours it is until Christmas. (Three thousand, six hundred and twenty-four from this moment.)
