Ct Consumers Warned about Recalled Snap Bracelets Due to Laceration Hazard

The Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection is alerting consumers that more than 89,000 “Animal Snap Bracelets” imported by Toysmith, of Sumner, Washington are being voluntarily recalled by the company and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

Consumers are encouraged to return them to place of purchase for a full refund.

The metal snap band can wear through the fabric covering resulting in exposing sharp edges, posing a laceration hazard, and the company has received eight reports of injuries including lacerations.
