How Americans Can Get The Best Deal Buying Medication From Foreign Countries

PharmacyChecker.com

By now, millions of Americans have discovered and are purchasing prescription medication from Canada and other foreign countries.

While technically illegal it is hardly ever enforced against individual buyers. For years, Americans saved as much as 90 percent by using the mail and internet to purchase medication from Canada and overseas.

Many of the Canada pharmaceutical resellers have branches in the U.S.

To help getting the lowest prices, I recently discovered a company that tracks medication prices sold by American and dozens of foreign companies – PharmacyChecker.com.

There is a huge difference in prices. For instance, I take Rybelsus to control my type 2 diabetes.

The least expensive price in the U.S. using GoodRX in $29 for one 14 mg pill.

From foreign countries, the least expensive identical pill is $6.05 from liferxpharmacy.com. The company purchases the medication from India.

The most expensive foreign price is $11.53 from Canada.

These prices are for people who don’t have insurance for prescriptions or don’t qualify for the manufacturer’s discount plan. Some insurance and Medicare plans could end up costing less than foreign prices.

Buying from these companies do not count toward your deductibles.

  1. I have been buying Januia for my type 2 Diabetes for years direct shipped from an pharmacy in India for a fraction of what this same drug would cost here in the USA. The pills are made by the same company at the same dosage. I pay for these out of pocket as it is cheaper than the co-pay from my Part D medical insurance plan. The only draw back is the long shipping time via. US Mail System. My doctor shakes his head about this. He ask me why doesn’t everybody do this?
