LIFE GOES ON: Food & Mood

FOOD/MOOD CALENDAR

I advise a very strong method of healing/feeling/dealing with life for all of those who want to ACT, NOT REACT, to YOUR mood. EVERYTHING YOU PUT INTO YOUR BODY IS A CHEMICAL. Food, water, medications, vitamins, supplements, hormones, sugar, protein, carbohydrates, nutrition food, junk food, cocaine, heroin, speed, marijuana etc. AND diet soda that turns into formaldehyde. (Please google this). Everything you ingest is a chemical. Chemicals affect our mood, our brain chemistry, our behavior.

When GETTING well, (not TRYING to get well), write down everything you put INTO your body. Food, liquids, drugs, alcohol, diet products, medications. Please know that everything you put into your body reflects later in your mood and mind and behavior.

Your body today reflects where you were 6 months ago. 6 months from now will tell you were today. You decide.

GET A SMALL CALENDAR TO MARK YOUR EXPERIENC

C for days you have a cold.

H for days you feel happy.

I for nights you had insomnia.

D for days you feel depressed.

S for days you starve.

A for days you feels anxiety.

R for days you feel relaxed.

D for days you took drugs to self medicates. (please list).

B for binge (what did you eat, amount, why, circumstances)

XXX for every day you have your period. (And if you’re anorexic, you’ll see all your missed periods.)

You now need to take charge of the rest. Make your own chart, Just do it.

Read books. See a psychologist. Take care of yourself. DECIDE TO HEAL YOUR BODY AND YOUR MIND.

ALL AT THE SAME TIME.

So easy to say; so hard to do. Food is so soothing; a dependable friend; it comforts. Always there when I want/need it. Ah, food
