As the result of litigation or pressure seven drug firms have made public the names of doctors they paid to push their drugs.
ProPublica has compiled the $258 million payment into one database.
You can check to see if your doctor is on that list here.
If your doctor isn’t, you might still want to ask her/him if they receive any compensation from drug companies to recommend their medication.
For the reader running into a brick wall with Energy Plus. I made the mistake of signing with them and now they are charging me MORE than CL&P. There’s mostly current rate information posted by the DPUC at: http://www.ctenergyinfo.com/display_rates.htm
I’ve switched to ConnEd at $.0899 through Sept. 2011. There are “variable” rates that are lower – today – but you’d need to monitor to them. Energy Plus was lower when I signed up with them, but seemed to increase their rate to more than CL&Ps very quickly. They are not even listed by the DPUC now.
