  1. Andy Kreig was the best while at the courant

  2. Yeah, better than you

  3. Mr. Krieg, are you going to do any indepth connecticut based reporting, or merely sharing with us your national reporting?

We could use you in Connecticut. It’s become a free-for-all here not least because there just are no reporters left, and among those that are, some are targeted with no one to give a darn about it, never mind write about it.

    Give it some thought. Thanks.

Responding to Anon’s question: I’ve always kept a close eye on developments in Connecticut, where I spent the first 18 years of my career. There’s an informal group of former Courant reporters who feel the same way in frequently swapping information, though now widely dispersed nationally with few having worked together for many years. In sum, I’m thrilled again to be able to publish news, especially in such a professional and innovative environment that George Gombossy is creating in CT Watchdog. In doing so, I’ll look for a specific Connecticut dimension, although many of the most important developments have parallels elsewhere of note.

  4. Dear Mr. Kreig,

The DoJ has fluffed me off and I have evidence of many crimes. I can’t believe that Don Seigelman has been treated the way he has. It almost appears that justice exists only for a certain few. I’ve been following his story since 2005.

The State of Connecticut is constructing a bus way between Hartford and Waterbury. It is along a railroad line. There is waste that is being sent to Pennsylvania at a cost of $65.00 per ton while in Hamden CT there is a location that has already taken lead contaminated waste from the Olin/Newhall Project. This site can take material at $25.00 per ton but an assistant Attorney General has a personal agenda that has and is preventing it. This is costing the taxpayers of CT and causing the Town of Hamden to lose property taxes.
I have documents and names of people involved that can verify and support an GOOD INVESTGATIVE REPORTER with this story.

    Mr. Gombossy,
I would like to make you privy to a horrible situation involving Clear Edge Power, located in South Windsor, CT. This situation is tentatively schedualed for arbitration at the Marriot located on Day hill Road in South Windsor, CT on April 30, 2014 at 10:00 AM. This is a complete aboration of our system of Juris Prudence. My employment was terminated with extreme prejudice due to laws enacted by the State of CT which were not made available to the general public or indeed to any employee of Clear Edge Power. If this is the venue which corporate America wishes to persue, then we all are subject to random persecution and eventual elimination.
    With All Hope of Vindication,
    Jerry R. Bogosian
